Say Singaporeeeeeee!

Unless you missed the last post, you would have known that my bloggie is officially 1 year old! *throws confetti And you should too know I went to Singapore. So, I'm here to blog bout the trip now. Not gonna do the day-by-day thing cause I haven't got enough pics and I'm probably just gonna bore you with words if I tell you what I've been doing everyday (seriously, how many of you actually read everything I say?).

Reached Changi Airport on Thurs, expecting a magnificent looking airport cause if I'm not wrong, it is the no.1 airport something something? But leh, normal only what. KLIA looks even better to me. Took a cab to our hotel; The Elizabeth located off Orchard Road.

Checked in and all, and started shopping in the malls along Orchard. Not good la seriously- so expensive. Actually hor, it's cause have to times 2.4 for every price I see! If not I don't know how many bags of new stuff I can happily carry back to Penang already!

Had dinner with some relatives at night. Mmmm, lobster. mrgreen

Nana, tell me you're proud!
The place I had breakfast for a few mornings.
Nothing much the next day. Went to Tan Tock Seng hospital for some reason and then it was more shopping all day long! I know from the way I say it, it's as if I bought lots but no la! If only the currency was 1 to 1 then yes definitely. Basically for everything I saw I times 2.5 cause easier what. So its like SGD 20 will be RM 50, SGD 30 will be RM 75, SGD 100 will be 250 and the list goes on. This isn't good at all. cry

Now now, let me show you Orchard Road with lots and lots of beautifully decorated lights for Christmas.

And then, there was this girl, who attempted so many times to take pics with the lights.

(no idea how that lil boy got in the pic)

..however, it's just too obvious she failed terribly.

Breakfast the next morning, substituted porridge with mee. The rest remains. Spent my morning visiting my relative's too-big-and-surely-scary-if-left-alone house.

Went to Vivo in the afternoon. The rest of my family went Sentosa Island except me! Cause I was gonna meet Cheryl, Jamie & Darren in the evening. Thought I was gonna miss a lot but well, mum said it was plain boring over there. Anyway, I took MRT all alone in like what Nana said, a country that was supposed to be ours back to the hotel from Vivo! Okay fine, I know it's nothing to be proud off lah, who also know la right?

Dinner at Yoshinoya's
We all went to Clarke Quay after that, supposedly Singapore's happening night spot. And we found this really interesting board which lights up whenever you poke the little things(I don't know what you call it) into the holes.

wink

Clarke Quay.

Last day in Singapore.
Orchard Road w/o lights in the morning.
Lunch at some food court in a mall in Bugis. Come to think of it, almost every meal I had in S'pore was at their food courts. Besides the lobster meal and one meal of bak kut teh. I kinda like their bak kut teh actually. Opposite from ours which has all sorts of ingredients, theirs is much plainer.
So as I was at the airport once again, this time to go back to lovely Penang, I changed my mind. I've finally seen the nice part of Changi Airport. The departure hall is way better.

First time I got the best seats in the plane. No, I'm not talking bout business class. What I'm saying are the seats in the first row of the economy class. The one where there are no other seats in front of you (that also means no one is gonna recline their damn seat towards you) and you can stretch your feet to as far as possible.

Goodbye Singapore!

Home sweeet home. biggrin

Feels so good to be home. I don't know why but I've always had this feeling of coming home whenever I'm somewhere else. Oh ya, I really think we should have MRT in Penang!
