Formula One Technology Challenge

Day 1 ( 5th September)

Presentation day at..

Yup, this place. I didn't know there was such school till that day.
Anyway, the four of us (WP, Kim, Farhana & I) and Pn.K took a cab there.
Long journey in a supposedly 'van'.

Registered and wanted to change some parts of the slides.
Turned on the laptop and look at the amount of viruses.

Couldn't change cause some error occured.
So stuck with the old one.
Soon, it was time for our presentation.
Omg, the judges were scary (esp the first one)
Like Kim said, if this was F1 idol, that first judge is the Simon Cowell.
And the room was damnn freezing COLD!
Anyway, we came out about 15 mins later..
Calmed & satisfied.

Day 2 (6th September)

Booth & racing day..

The race track!

The machine that manufactured every car.

Used to test the car.

The officers checking the specs to see if they are right.
We thought we wouldn't qualify for the rest at first..

..but they felt it was okay!
So 'Borderless' (name of our car) went in line together with other cars.

Next, time for booth decorations!
Still empty..Given one hour to decorate it.

After an hour, TADAAAA.
It looks not bad to me.
But of course, it's nothing compared to others!
The event started soon after the booth decorations.
People started visiting our booth and we visited others too.
Meanwhile, the race was running too; 2 teams at a time.

But I have no idea what was that star doing in the middle.

Nice right? I think this was the best booth to me.
They won 1st runner-up for overall.

And this one's one of my favourite cars.

Okay, get back to our booth!

Then, we heard the emcee announce :
Team ZENITH ZEPHYR, tolong standby RACE TRACK A!
It was time for BORDERLESS to RACE!

VROOOOOM!
Off it went, we're so happy it actually managed to reach the end.

And the recorded time, wasn't bad at all.

Ours is the one with the slower time.
But our opponent's car got disqualified cause their car was..
UNDERWEIGHT.

SECOND round, Borderless went alone.
Cause the other car was taken out already.

And the time IMPROVED!

The rest of the day, we just hung around our booth.
Till all the races ended at around 4.30pm.

End of Day 2.

Day 3 (7th September)

Prize giving ceremony.
We knew we wouldn't win though.
Of course lah, other schools so keng (esp the guys).

They organized a Lucky Draw, too bad I didn't win.

Team Badawi Nova : 2nd runner-up Qverall.

Team Silhouette : 1st runner-up Overall.

Out of 51 teams..
Team CE2 : The OVERALL REGIONAL CHAMPIONS!

Hmm. I wonder what we got. I thought they would announce the rankings, but they didn't.
Anyhow, I guess it was good already cause there were only 3 all girls team in this competition.
