Weeks ago.

On this special date; 080808..
when everyone was happily watching the Opening Ceremony of Olympics,
I was at Evergreen Laurel.
For an event organised by the board of prefects and Kelab Kebudayaan.
I'm not part of any of that though but earlier this year I joined a program organised by Kelab Kebudayaan so the 16 of us were asked to join this special dinner.
Prefects farewell as well as HM's.

On the stage when the place was still quite empty.
I went early cause mum needed to go somewhere.

Emcees for the night.

Surprised that they actually made this kinda grand.
Didn't expect it to be in a private room either.
Btw, the special guest arrived 1 hour after the scheduled time.
Hmm, I guess she's called special guest for a reason.
Everyone always has to wait for VIPs, right?

Gaya and Cheng Har smile

George and I.
She's Joanne actually.
But I'm stuck to calling her George for some reasons.

The deputy head prefect who looked really good that night.

With the fellow prefects..
You guys better not confiscate my stuffs! Hehe.

& last but not least..

Pn. K - Be there or be square!
Her all time favourite phase.
WP, she just loves this picture right?

They played a slide show for the ex-HM shortly after her arrival.
And look at how touched she is..
After this picture, they showed this next slide..
Look below.

As if. neutral
& now the real question is..
For a moment, I thought they were gonna review the new HM in the following slide.
But nah, they didn't.
It's still a question to every CPTarian. rolleyes

She received lots of gifts..
And there were performances and a cake as well for her.
Guess she must be really delighted.

And that's Stacey playing A Thousand Miles, was it?
Should be lah, if I'm not wrong.

I won my first ever lucky draw..
And it's soft drink - F&N. Haha.
It's way better compared to the other prizes.
Got back around 11.

The next day was Nana's public speaking competition; finals.
Followed her there in Ms. Yeoh's car to show some moral support. mrgreen
Ms. Yeoh if you're reading this, HELLO. lol.
She got the consolation prize. To me, she should have gotten 3rd though.
Not being bias or anything, but it's the truth!
Anyhow, it was the finals already so it was good enough I guess.

Congratulations! razz
